This piece is certainly something that you wouldn't see everyday: an Irken with dragon-esque wings taking flight in the middle of a rainstorm over who knows where. I'd certainly be surprised! Because of this, the deviation does have a certain level of whimsy to it, though there are a few technique issues. The wings and antennae look great, as does the rain (though I think that the raindrop-effect should stand out a bit more), but the eyes seem a bit off. The lineart around them seems to be wobbly, and they seem to be flat in certain places. Also, the eyelashes don't seem to be the same on both eyes, though I'm unsure of if this was intentional. Another thing I wish to point out is that the shading seems to be a little inconsistant. Looking at the head, it appears that the light source is coming from above, thus causing the Irken to get darker as your travel down her body. However, there are still a few random lighter spots on the gloves, boots and...tail? that I don't believe should be there, even though these could be shiny surfaces. All in all, this is a good piece, and with a few tweaks and with a little more practice, your art will become even better. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
